The project is based on a total investment of $130 million by Jiangsu Lanzhou Marine Equipment. It covers about 124 mu (8.27 hectares), with a building area of 54,000 square meters, and is designed for an annual capacity of 200,000 metric tons.
Production is set to begin in 2028 and reach full capacity by 2029, when annual sales are projected to hit 1.5 billion yuan.
Jiangsu Lanzhou is a foreign-owned firm under the control of Jiangsu Hantong WING Heavy Industry. With this project, its cumulative investment in NETDA totals $681 million. The base will also complement its parent's shipyard, creating a complete supply chain from shipbuilding to outfitting.
