Yuantuojiao Resort, a provincial tourist resort in Jiangsu province, was originally a desolate shoal. Now more than 3 million tourists visit the resort every year.

This summer, many tourists from the Yangtze River Delta visited the resort to dig for clams, take the sightseeing train along the beach and play in the water.

In addition, the city focused on the construction of a coastal landscape belt showing the beautiful scenery of coastal wetlands and harbors.

At the same time, the city has promoted marine ecological protection and restoration projects to fully restore the natural properties of the coastline.

In the first half of this year, Qidong's output value of industrial enterprises above designated size grew 8.9 percent year-on-year, and its tourism revenue grew 18.2 percent year-on-year.
