To celebrate the Qixi Festival, or Chinese Valentine's Day, an ancient style market fair will be held from July 30 to Aug 7 at Fishman's Wharf of Yuantuojiao Resort in Qidong, Nantong, Jiangsu province, according to local media reports.

Tourists are encouraged to wear hanfu, a traditional Chinese style of clothing, to take part in the market fair.

During the event, a wish card will be given to anyone who enters the Fisherman's Wharf wearing hanfu.

Different kinds of novelties and ancient-style items can be seen at the market fair, and concerts and various performances will be held.

From July 30 to Aug 7, free sightseeing vehicles will be operating between Fisherman's Wharf and the Bihai Yinsha Scenic Area. They will run from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.

During this period, a free double-decker tourist bus will travel from the downtown area to Fisherman's Wharf every night at 6:00 and return to downtown from Fisherman's Wharf at 9:00 pm.
