The 5th tulip flora expo is scheduled to be held at Yuantuojiao Resort in Qidong, a county-level city in Nantong, Jiangsu province on March 19.

The tulip expo is one of the largest tulip exhibitions in China and has become an important means to promote the development of the culture and tourism industry in Qidong.

For the first time this year, an art fair will be held at the place on the same day. More than 80 artisans, artists, musicians and gourmands will be invited to participate in the event.

A Nantong intangible cultural heritage area will also be set up to allow visitors to experience traditional skills such as tie-dye, paper-cutting and lantern making, and further promote local cultural heritage.

In addition, an insect exhibition and an illustration exhibition will be held to enhance people's connections with nature and improve their understanding of animals and plants.
