Here are some great destinations in Qidong, East China's Jiangsu province where tourists can spend their holidays in the upcoming new year.

Golden Beach Scenic Area

The Golden Beach Scenic Area is adjacent to the Yellow Sea in the east and the Yangtze River in the south. It boasts abundant tourism resources and spans more than 2,700 mu (140 hectares).

It is the easternmost tip of Jiangsu province and the first place to welcome the sunrise in the Yangtze River Delta.

Bihai Yinsha Scenic Area

Located at the intersection of the Yangtze River, the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea, the Bihai Yinsha Scenic Area has rich tourism resources. 

Hotels, a bar street and a food street can be found in the scenic spot, which provides a variety of leisure and entertainment activities.

The scenic area has a unique seascape featuring a "double colored sea" as the Yellow Sea is separated from an artificial blue bay by a dam.

Five-country hot spring town

The five-country hot spring town is the largest indoor hot spring in the Jiangsu coastal area.

Tourists can experience unique hot springs similar to those seen in Thailand, Japan, Finland, Turkey and Italy.

The town also has a children's amusement park and hot spring villas.

Lyusi fishing port

Located in front of the Yellow Sea, the Lyusi fishing port is one of the six national central fishing ports. It boasts abundant fishery resources and has an aquatic product wholesale market. The port is an ideal place for tourists to savor fresh seafood.
