The main part of the new Marriott DELTA Hotel in the Yuantuojiao Resort, Qidong, was recently capped. The hotel's supporting complex has also been put into operation.

With a total investment of 1 billion yuan ($156.11 million), the construction area which spans more than 6 hectares contains a five-star hotel with over 260 guest rooms, a large indoor swimming pool, and amusement facilities for children.

The United States-based architectural and engineering firm HOK is in charge of the design of the Marriott DELTA Hotel. Elements of the Nantong Jianghai culture have been integrated into the modern, people-oriented design to achieve a harmonious balance between people, architecture and the environment.

The hotel is expected to be constructed and put into operation in the second half of 2022. When completed, the hotel will serve as a new seaside landmark for culture and tourism in the Yangtze River Delta region.
