Located north of the entrance of the Yangtze River, Qidong's Yuantuojiao Resort has been recently recommended by Shanghai as a popular tourist attraction.

As the intersection of the Yangtze River, the Yellow Sea, and the East China Sea, it shows a colorful mixture of navy blue, taupe, and bluish violet under the sunset.

The Golden Beach scenic area is located in the eastern coastal area of Yuantuojiao Resort, covering an area of 180 hectares. It boasts abundant and unique coastal tourism resources. It possesses a wetland park that offers standard activities like camping, fishing, and sightseeing, as well as special activities like kite surfing, riding ATVs, sightseeing along the beach by oxcart. There are also museums focusing on whales, new energy, and wetland science.
