The Taiyang Lake Musical Fountain is currently under debugging and will soon be open to the public, local media outlets reported on Sept 4.

The fountain is located 3 kilometers south of the Yuantuojiao resort in Qidong, Nantong. It is 122 meters long, 48 meters wide and about 80 meters high, and is the largest of its kind in Qidong.

The fountain can put up six different performances of distinctive styles, according to Lin Zhiqiao, deputy director of the project.

Located across the fountain is a standard bleacher that can accommodate 1,500 spectators.
