Qidong to improve 178-km coastline

Qidong, a county-level city located in East China's Jiangsu province, has total coastline spanning 178 kilometers and 58,000 rivers.
To rectify water control issues and to bolster development, the city has initiated a construction project to improve its coastline, with an investment of over 2.2 billion yuan ($339.30 million).
By 2025, Qidong will build the 178-km coastline into an ecological one integrating Yuantuojiao Resort, Golden Beach scenic area, and Lyusi Port in Tongzhou.
