The Golden Beach Scenic Area, which was closed due to Typhoon In-fa, was reopened on July 28.

The Golden Beach Scenic Area is located on the east side of Yuantuojiao Resort in Qidong and measures more than 1.8 square kilometers. It was recognized as a provincial wetland park in Jiangsu province in 2017.

The scenic area has a vast beach, abundant resources and a beautiful environment with lush water plants, clear ponds and gulls.

In addition, the scenic area has tourist attractions including a wetland resort area, an ecological bird island, a pet area, a beach leisure area, a dock, as well as science exhibition halls.

Visitors can take part in recreational activities like kite-flying, sightseeing along the beach on an oxcart, and experience new water programs introduced this year.
