Qidong's Yuantuojiao Resort, famed for its abundant natural resources and harmonious environment, was recently nominated as a national "beautiful bay" by the provincial government.

Yuantuojiao is located at the intersection of the Yangtze River, the Yellow Sea, and the East China Sea. It enjoys unique natural landscapes, a healthy environment, rich shoreline resources, and vast wetlands.

Located in the easternmost part of Jiangsu province, Yuantuojiao boasts the earliest sunrise in the YRD region.

The resort, covering an area of 45 square kilometers, was officially established at the end of 2013.

The 12-km Jianghai Cultural Viewing Avenue lies along the resort, connecting tourist attractions like the Golden Beach Scenic Area, Bihai Yinsha Scenic Area, the Evergrande Hot Spring Town, the Xinhu Four-season Flowers Park, and the Fisherman's Wharf.

The Golden Beach Scenic Area has been rated a national 3A-level tourist area. Reopened on July 1 after being upgraded and restored, it attracts tourists with various programs such as beach combing, clam digging, bird watching, ATV riding, and boating.
