A tulip expo will be launched at the Yuantuojiao Resort in the county-level city of Qidong – administered by Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province – on March 20. It will be the fourth session since 2018.

Compared with previous years, this year's expo will make more room for tulips, but, in addition to the 1.5 million tulips on show in the core area, the total area reserved for all flowers will be nearly 50,000 square meters. Visitors will be able to enjoy a warm spring and elegant blossoms by the Yangtze River.

In addition to admiring the beauty of the flowers, visitors will also have fun through the recently up-graded on-site amusement facilities. Giant kite shows, parent-child kite making and bonfire parties will all be on tap during the expo.
