A large theme park based on the Octonauts, a British animated deep sea adventure series, will be built at Fisherman's Wharf, part of the Qidong Yuantoujiao Resort in Nantong, Jiangsu province.
The amusement park is planned to have three floors with a total floor area of more than 5,000 square meters, and is expected to accommodate over 600 people when finished.
The park will be where the real world meets the characters of the Octonauts. The cartoon is about an intrepid band of explorers roaming the oceans in search of adventure and fun.
Any visitor, child or adult of any age, is sure to enjoy their time in the park, which offers a wide variety of entertainment options.
According to the blueprint design images there will be recreational facilities both indoors and outdoors. The East Sea Adventure Park will be the major outdoors attraction, and will feature coastal scenes. Perfect for activities like climbing, sliding, playing with water, and trying not to get lost in a maze, it will be an enchanted oasis of family fun.
The indoor space will be divided into "under the sea", "in the sea", and "on the sea", each on a different floor, and promises thrills with its trampoline, ball pool and net-hanging experiences.
A special area will be set up for young children to have fun in a safe way.
Other highlights include an octopus castle, a super submarine, a seagrass tower, and an aquarium. They will truthfully display cartoon scenes and be highly interactive to bring the exciting adventure to life.
