The 10th Tour of Qidong bicycle invitational tournament opened in Qidong, a county-level city of Nantong, on Sept 20. With a trip of 168 kilometers, the tournament is a charitable cycling activity to promote World Car Free Day on Sept 22.

With the firing of the starting gun at 7:30 am, the riders raced off from the starting point intent on fierce competition.

Initiated by cycling enthusiasts in Qidong, the Tour of Qidong cycling race has been held for nine consecutive years and has developed into an influential brand event in East China, attracting many participants.

During the race, players need to clock in at four points distributed in the Golden Beach scenic area, the Danglang (keep out waves) Wall ruins park, the sales office of Longxi Yihao and the Lyubei highway.

The riders took in the exquisite scenery of Qidong's sea and river throughout the tour.
