Two Michelin-starred restaurants are expected to open in Evergrande Marine Venice Resort in Qidong, a county-level city in Nantong, with deals signed on June 6. This is the first time that Michelin-starred restaurants have opened in Nantong.

Michelin-starred restaurants are selected by Michelin, a prestigious French institution with 119 years of history. According to the Michelin Guide, Michelin-starred restaurants in China are concentrated in developed areas such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong.

The resort in Qidong is a complex integrating hotels, catering, conventions, entertainment, and sports, among other things. 

The two Michelin-starred restaurants will help the resort improve its traveling and shopping experience of visitors and take the lead in East China in the integrated development of culture, tourism and catering.

During the signing ceremony, both sides expressed hope that the restaurants can open as soon as possible.
