Local specialties in Yuantuojiao Resort feature seafood and sand food culture.

The Yangtze River, East China Sea and Huanghai Sea meeting there provide Yuantuojiao with superior food from the sea, the river and the lake.

All kinds of fish, shrimp, crabs and shellfish resources are rich in the area around the resort.

Hilsa herring, turtle, pomfret and yellow croaker are the four famous types of fish there. Pomfret meat is fresh, tender and rich with a unique flavor. Yellow croaker is favored for its golden color and tender flesh.

Tian Xia Di Yi Xian ("The most delicious food in the world") refers to the clams that are also found in the coastal sand and mud in Yuantuojiao. The ladybell flowers on the beach are also famous in the area.
