A hot spring town established by Evergrande Tourism Group opened in Qidong, Nantong, Jiangsu province on Nov 30.

The town covers an area of 80,000 square meters and features a variety of different types of hot springs themed around five different countries: Japan, Thailand, Italy, Finland, and Turkey. The water in the springs was dug from native hot springs located 3,180 m below ground.

The town offers food, pedicures, saunas, and spas, and has 14 main rooms, 30 private spa houses, and 74 indoor and outdoor pools.

It aims to become the most unique hot spring town in East China, and has already been honored with a "Golden Hot Spring Award" as one of this year's best newly opened hot springs.

The new tourist site is expected to improve the cultural tourism industry in Qidong.
