Construction of the jetty bridge for the supporting terminal of the PetroChina Jiangsu LNG Project (Phase-III) was completed on May 30.

The Phase-III project includes the construction of a dedicated terminal capable of accommodating liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers ranging from 80,000 to 266,000 cubic meters, along with related facilities. It is expected to be operational by the end of October, with an annual LNG turnover capacity of 6.5 million tons.

The LNG unloading terminal is crucial for docking and unloading LNG carriers, and the jetty serves as the core passage connecting the terminal to the storage tanks. The newly completed jetty bridge involved the installation of 236 box girders, using specialized bridge equipment for a period of nearly eight months, spanning a total length of 2,800 meters.

The PetroChina Jiangsu LNG Terminal, which has the highest load rate and strongest peak shaving capability in the Yangtze River Delta region, is undergoing its fourth expansion. Once completed, its unloading, storage, and gasification capacity will reach 10 million tons annually.
