Yangkou Port had exported more than 90 billion cubic meters of natural gas as of July 14, contributing to a reduction of over 100 million metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
Amid peak summer gas demand and ongoing heatwaves, Yangkou Port, one of China's key liquefied natural gas distribution hubs along the eastern coast, continues to ensure stable energy supply while supporting regional carbon reduction efforts. The port's operations highlight the dual benefits of efficient energy transport and environmental protection.
