In early November, Jiangsu Jusheng Heavy Equipment launched its heavy chemical equipment production base at Yangkou Port. It is the first heavy equipment project in the port area, which is focusing on developing three sectors: new materials, new energy, and new equipment. Once fully operational, the base is expected to achieve annual sales exceeding 800 million yuan ($110.13 million).

From land acquisition to production, the base was completed in just 257 days. "The efficient project progress at Yangkou Port was key to the success," said Wang Sheng, chairman of Jusheng.

In order to accelerate production capacity and fulfill its overwhelming number of orders, Jusheng proposed that construction begin within two months of signing the contract, with production starting within six months.

The Yangkou Port project service team quickly formed a collaborative mechanism involving departments such as planning, safety, environmental protection, and land management, streamlining the approval and construction processes. This proactive approach significantly reduced the time required for project approvals.

The Yangkou Port team maintained close communication with Jusheng following their first contact in August of last year, addressing concerns about infrastructure and future development. This helped build investor confidence, leading to project signing and registration in less than a month.

Jusheng also made specific demands for the surrounding infrastructure, including road layouts, bridge capacity, and traffic management. During the coordination process, the Yangkou Port Economic Development Zone's leadership played a pivotal role in addressing these issues, ensuring smooth progress with professional and efficient solutions.

Looking ahead, the chairman expressed confidence in the company's future. "We can now take on domestic and international orders for pressure vessels, serving industries such as coal chemical, petrochemical, and fine chemicals. Yangkou Port's regional advantages have expanded our market reach," he said.
