In 2023, the terminal for liquid chemicals at Yangkou Port in Nantong, Jiangsu province received 418 vessels, a year-on-year increase of 263.48 percent. The throughput of bulk liquid chemical products reached an all-time high of 3.43 million metric tons, an increase of 778.3 percent over last year.

This remarkable achievement would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts of the Rudong entry and exit border inspection station. To address increasing demand for imported production materials by enterprises, the station has implemented multiple measures to improve the port's operational efficiency, including actively conducting border inspections, optimizing the arrangement of the port, upgrading inspection and verification facilities, accelerating customs declaration operations, carrying out training on legal regulations, and assisting in the activation and opening-up of berths.

The station, in collaboration with relevant departments, has also regularly carried out joint enforcement, aiming to create a safe port and an optimized business environment.
