The main structure of the Rudong County No 4 People's Hospital, located in the Yangkou Port, reached its completion on Jan 3 after more than three months of construction. The new hospital is slated to open its doors to the public in July.

With an investment of 278.5 million yuan ($38.88 million), the hospital features a mental health center, a comprehensive facility, and a fever outpatient clinic. The mental health center will boast 300 beds, while the comprehensive facility will provide an additional 100 beds.

Once completed, the hospital is poised to play a crucial role in further advancing healthcare services in the region.
