On Sept 1, the Yangkou Port Economic Development Zone in Rudong county, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province held a signing ceremony for several key projects, marking a significant step in the area's economic development.

These projects include the construction of a Pullman Hotel and commercial complex, an innovation industrial park, a marine equipment factory of Shandong Future Robot Co Ltd, and a plant with an annual output of 60,000 metric tons of heavy equipment.

Chen Lei, the county mayor, expressed his satisfaction with the quality and distinctiveness of the signed projects. He emphasized that this represents a new breakthrough for Yangkou Port in utilizing foreign investment and promoting industrial development.

Chen Huiyu, Party secretary of Rudong, highlighted the promising prospects and ample development opportunities in Rudong. The region boasts excellent geographical advantages, abundant resources, and robust growth potential, he added.

As a crucial driver of Rudong's future development, the Yangkou Port Economic Development Zone is rapidly becoming an invaluable hub for investment and entrepreneurship in the Yangtze River Delta region, said Chen.
