NETDA hosts AI, digital transformation event for foreign manufacturers

An event promoting AI empowerment and digital transformation for foreign-invested manufacturers in Nantong and the Yangtze River Delta took place in Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area from July 9 to 10.

The event, bringing together more than 50 executives and technical experts from regional foreign-invested enterprises, aimed to serve as a platform for technology exchange and business matchmaking, thereby fostering closer ties with the local industrial ecosystem.

It began with a visit to the Nantong Planning Hall and the Nantong Museum, where participants learned about the city's history and industrial landscape. They then proceeded to the NETDA Building for keynote speeches and panel discussions centered on AI-driven manufacturing applications.

In addition, the delegation toured Zhongtian Technology's factory, observing the digital control center and the intelligent production lines for submarine cables.

NETDA plans to prioritize AI innovation and smart manufacturing to build a new AI hub along the Yangtze River Delta region.
