On site, experts from Nantong Ruici Hospital analyzed local residents' health conditions by reviewing their medical records, health check-ups, and imaging reports. Specialists provided medical advice on the most suitable medication, regular follow-ups, and referrals for hospitalization if necessary.
The district disease control center staff also delivered talks on chronic disease management, summer vector-borne disease prevention, and smoking controls in public places.
Meanwhile, the medical team at the local community health service center provided free blood pressure and blood sugar measurements for the public, as well as traditional Chinese medicine therapy experiences like gua sha, acupoint massage, and wellness teas.
Attendees appreciated the convenience of seeing experts, getting health checks, and receiving traditional therapies without laborious hospital waits.
In the future, NETDA plans to regularly host health-promoting activities to offer comprehensive health support to its residents.
