Aisen Semiconductor to build major IC materials base in NETDA
Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) signed an agreement with Jiangsu Aisen Semiconductor Material for an East China Manufacturing Base Project of Integrated Circuit Materials on Feb 12.
Aisen Semiconductor is headquartered in Suzhou. Since its establishment in 2010, the company has been dedicated to developing photoresists, electroplating solutions, and related supporting products.
The project covers 159 mu (10.6 hectares) and is planned to invest 2 billion yuan ($291.25 million). It aims to build an annual production line for 13,000 metric tons of integrated circuit materials, which is projected to drive the development of the semiconductor materials industry in NETDA.
Construction is scheduled to begin in 2026, with completion and operation expected by 2028. Upon reaching full production capacity, the project is expected to achieve an annual sales revenue of 1.8 billion yuan.
Aisen Semiconductor will establish a new wholly-owned subsidiary in NETDA to build and manage the project. This subsidiary will also set up a photoresist research and development center.
