The Civic Square in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) shimmered with bright lights and busy crowds as the three-day 2025 Beer Music Carnival began amid the romantic Qixi Festival atmosphere on the evening of Aug 29.

Running through Aug 31, the festival offered craft beer, local delicacies, energetic live bands, romantic violin solos, interactive games, and lucky draws, forming a fully immersive entertainment environment. Residents came together to enjoy a night of synchronized audiovisual shows and delicious food.

The area also issued 300,000 yuan ($42,048.29) in consumption vouchers to support the nighttime economy and enhance commercial cooperation.

As Nantong's pillar for economic growth, investment attraction, technological progress, and reform and opening-up, NETDA is speeding up its shift into the "top-tier business environment hub and vibrant new urban center". In the first half of 2025, it secured 44 projects each worth over 500 million yuan or $30 million, with total investments reaching 43.6 billion yuan — ranking first citywide.

Furthermore, a series of activities have been initiated in the area. These include the "Amazing Nantong-Made" Industrial Products Exhibition, second-venue viewing events for the Jiangsu Football City League, and the Beer and Music Carnival, showcasing the area's development vitality and emphasizing its lively industries and dynamic city life.
