NETDA fosters cultural excellence with innovative initiatives
The Ganoderma Cultural Museum of China, located in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA), was recently designated as a New Public Cultural Space, while the Nantong Philharmonic Choir Art Troupe and Fanghua Years Dance Troupe were recognized as provincial-level Outstanding Mass Cultural Teams.
Established in April 2005, the Ganoderma Cultural Museum of China is a science-focused venue that celebrates the rich tradition of Chinese ganoderma culture. Covering 2,500 square meters across three exhibition halls, the museum presents an array of visual materials and physical exhibits, offering visitors a systematic and engaging introduction to the history, uses, and scientific significance of ganoderma.
In recent years, NETDA has taken proactive measures to foster cultural growth at the grassroots level by developing and supporting community-based cultural teams. Through innovative identification, training, and selection initiatives, the area has cultivated a thriving mass cultural scene.
Looking ahead, NETDA is committed to further innovation in public cultural services, aiming to enrich the everyday lives of residents and enhance their sense of fulfillment through a wide range of accessible and meaningful cultural activities.
