NETDA holds talent innovation roadshow in Beijing
The Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) held a roadshow in Beijing on Oct 26 during the fourth Nantong Jianghai Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, bringing together experts from well-known universities, sci-tech investors, and outstanding young people from all over the country to discuss industrial development and create a better future.
Focused on promoting the deep integration of technological and industrial innovation, the event highlighted cutting-edge areas such as new quality productive forces and future industries, showcasing 22 projects in next-generation information technology, high-end equipment, pharmaceuticals and health, and new energy. In the end, 14 projects reached intentions for implementation.
Lu Guoqiang, executive deputy minister of the organization department of the Nantong Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, stated that Nantong had been continuously expanding the recruitment path of "overseas stations, headquarters, and base alliance", accelerating the gathering of high-end talents and the development of new quality productive forces.
He expressed the hope for further collaboration with the China Association for Science and Technology to attract more projects, talents, and scientific research achievement transfer in Nantong.
Jiang Yumin, member of the CPC Working Committee of NETDA, stated that NETDA, as one of the first 14 national-level development zones in China, has experienced rapid development over 40 years, with prominent location advantages, concentration of high-end industries, a strong innovation atmosphere, and unlimited development potential. The area focuses on the industrial system of next-generation information technology, high-end equipment, pharmaceuticals and health, and new energy.
