Jiangsu Leader Electronic Information Technology Co is promoting its advanced technologies and products abroad, noted Wu Wenquan, general manager of Leader.

Based in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA), Leader is currently negotiating with multiple European enterprises.

Wu noted that it is the new quality productive forces that gave Leader the confidence to stand on the world stage and export Chinese technologies.

From the initial five-member team to a large-scale business with nearly 1,000 employees, Leader attributes its stable growth to innovation, according to the general manager.

Leader-made manufacturing equipment is mainly used in digital 3C products (computers, communications and consumer electronics), semiconductor assembly and testing, new energy vehicle batteries, and energy storage batteries.

Different clients have different requirements, which means Leader must design and manufacture non-standard equipment and even entire production lines. As a result, innovation has become part of Leader's DNA, Wu said.

One of Leader's star products is its flexible printed circuit bending machine, which has been recognized by Apple Inc and helped Leader become the company's preferred equipment supplier in China. In addition, its efficient production line for integrated busbar used in NEV batteries allowed Leader to reach a strategic cooperation agreement with power battery manufacturer CATL.

With strong independent R&D capacities, Leader can currently receive about 250 projects per month. Last year, the company's sales revenue totaled nearly 500 million yuan ($69.24 million).
