IMEIK to establish regional headquarters in NETDA

IMEIK Technology Development Co, a supplier of biomedical soft tissue repair materials, announced plans to locate its regional headquarters in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) in Jiangsu province.

The impactful decision was unveiled at a signing ceremony held on Jan 18.

Founded in 2004, IMEIK is a leading force in China's medical beauty industry. The first phase of the project will function as the regional marketing center, while the second phase will house the R&D center and production base for medical beauty products.

Ahead of the signing ceremony, Wu Xinming, Party secretary of Nantong, met with IMEIK's president Jian Jun.

Wu underscored Nantong's solid economic foundation, favorable business environment, and proximity to Shanghai.

Highlighting technological advancements and significant market potential, Wu emphasized that the medical beauty industry is one of the city's key competitive industries. He expressed hope that IMEIK's presence will bring more upstream and downstream companies to the city, fostering clustered development.

In the eyes of Jian, Nantong is blessed with a sound industrial foundation and is full of innovation vitality. She also commended local officials for their professionalism, efficiency, and down-to-earth demeanor.

Jian affirmed that IMEIK will make full use of Nantong's advantages in industry, innovation, and talent to increase investment in R&D and expand markets, propelling the enterprise's development to a higher level.
