The Nantong Free Trade Zone – located in Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – was established on Jan 3, 2013 with the approval of the State Council, China's Cabinet.

The Nantong FTZ contains two parks with a planned area of 5.29 square kilometers.

Park A covers an area of 1.5 sq km in the former Nantong Export Processing Zone, located in the center of the State-level Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area, or NETDA.

Park B, only 2 km from Sutong Yangtze River Bridge, takes up an area of 3.79 sq km, adjacent to the planned container dock with an annual container handling capacity of 2 million TEUs, or twenty-foot equivalent units.
