New joint innovation center set up in NETDA

A new joint innovation center was set up and began operation on Dec 22 in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area.

The center, named Zhongke Yusheng Solid-State Fermentation Smart Equipment Joint Innovation Center, is a fruit of collaboration between Jiangsu Zhongke Institute of Applied Research on Intelligent Science and Technology and a local company — Nantong Yusheng Intelligent Equipment Co Ltd. 

The center, focusing on the innovation of smart equipment for fermentation, aims to accelerate the transformation and upgrade of technology while facilitating the landing of scientific research.

The launch ceremony was attended by officials of the area and representatives of the company.

Nantong Yusheng Intelligent Equipment Co Ltd, a subsidiary of Hongshengtai Group in NETDA, has evolved into a national high-tech enterprise, leading the domestic intelligent equipment industry for liquor and holding 36 patents. Jiangsu Zhongke Institute of Applied Research on Intelligent Science is a provincial research institution, with 40 jointly-built research and development centers and extensive experience in collaborative industry projects.

The collaboration aims to establish three major centers, including a R&D center for robotic equipment, a R&D Center for digitalized control, and a next-generation technology development center. 

This collaboration will also support Yusheng to deliver more technological upgrades, gaining a competitive edge in the intelligent equipment sector, and promoting the widespread application of new technologies, processes, and equipment. It is expected that the cooperation can be strengthened, contributing to the area’s high-quality development.
