NETDA signs agreement with Bank of Communications to improve financial services

The Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) in East China's Jiangsu province signed an agreement with the Nantong branch of Bank of Communications on July 22 to promote cooperation among governments, enterprises and bank. 

According to the agreement, the Nantong branch will roll out a series of preferential policies to provide loans to enterprises which are related to new-generation technology, high-end equipment, healthcare and new energy. 

Meanwhile, the branch will offer more financial support to companies, especially those in sectors such as accommodation, catering, sales and tourism, which were hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. The branch will also provide better financial services for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and self-employed individuals. 

Bao Delin, director of the NETDA administrative committee, said that the area will improve its financial environment and explore new room for further cooperation with the Nantong branch. 

Wang Chao, president of the Nantong branch, noted that the bank will provide financial support for infrastructure projects, investment, hi-tech enterprises and top talents in the NETDA.
