Nantong development area signs off on major food production complex

The signing ceremony for the construction of the China headquarters and research, development and production base of Australian group Taste Master Pty Ltd – involving total investment of $30 million – took place on May 19.
The facility will be built in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area, or NETDA, located in Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province.
Taste Master sells all kinds of special dietary food, including marine fish oligopeptide powder, marine dietary fiber and chitosan edible cellulose.
It has R&D institutes in the US, Indonesia and Thailand, among others. Its main customers include leading international groups Nestle, Starbucks, Mengniu, Yili and Nissin.
The construction project was signed online.
