Nantong development area offers its companies strong support
A team from the market regulations bureau of the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area, or NETDA – located in Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – revisited resident group Nantong Rising Sports & Leisure Goods Co Ltd on March 18.
While there, team members gained a detailed insight into the company's development trends and needs – providing expert guidance on quality brands, intellectual property or IP applications, the use of special equipment and other aspects.
"Our products are mainly exported to European and American countries," said a company executive.
"Due to the limited distribution of overseas patents and trademark applications, we often encounter infringements and disputes," he said, adding that the company was currently preparing to list its shares on the stock market and the prevention of IP risk was a top priority.
After learning about difficulties faced by the group, the market regulations bureau offered its on-site assistance a number of times, to clear away any obstacles for it to be listed.
The NETDA market regulations bureau has been strengthening its services and support to resident businesses in recent years, providing strong assistance to promote share market listings and enhance their core competitiveness.
