NETDA holds online jobs fair

A big spring recruitment fair in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area, or the NETDA – located in Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – was cancelled due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in the city on Feb 15.

To help those searching for work, the NETDA's human resources and social security bureau promptly switched the on-site fair over to an online recruitment event on Feb 19.

The livestreaming recruitment involved 11 resident enterprises in the NETDA, offering nearly 1,100 positions. Human resources staff members from the companies held online talks with job seekers, introducing their enterprises and discussing the positions on offer.

In addition, candidates were able to submit resumes through the online platform.
