NETDA becomes top national development zone (Ⅲ): Recruitment

The Nantong Economic & Technological Development Area or NETDA – located in Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – recently moved to recruit more personnel to help it move into top gear to build a first-class development zone in China, according to local media reports on Dec 20.

As part of the wider push to raise its profile nationally and help it to expand, the 4th NETDA Nengda Cup Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held by the development zone this year. The winning projects of each heat then gathered in Nantong to compete in the finals.

The event aimed to attract top innovation and entrepreneurship resources and recruits with outstanding innovative and entrepreneurial talent. The winners got the chance to set up operations in the development zone and to benefit from its considerable policy support.

The development zone is reportedly moving to provide all-round innovative services for major projects that settle there – as well as dedicated apartments for new hires, with family medical services and schooling for their children.

In addition, the NETDA plans to add 1,006 apartments for incoming talent. To date, the development zone has brought in 97 national-level experts for its high-end industries.
