NETDA becomes top national development zone (Ⅱ): Innovative services

A raft of policies paving the way for local businesses to enjoy liberalized dividend policies and services were recently launched by the Nantong Economic & Technological Development Area, or NETDA – located in the city of Nantong, in East China's Jiangsu province – according to local media reports on Dec 17.

As a result, the authorities there provided local enterprises with standardized and sophisticated services so that issues, large or small, could be resolved.

"We learned about the policies long ago, but we were busy with our R&D and production, so there was no time to apply for them," said Li Pengliang, an executive from a local company.

"Unexpectedly, at the beginning of December this year, 250,000 yuan ($39,391) of dividend funds arrived in our company's bank account," Li added.

The policies and services are said to relate to the approval of local hi-tech enterprises. They also relate to the construction of platforms for business developments, the application of intellectual property patents and evaluations of new local enterprises – providing stronger support for innovation and the development of local enterprises.
