NETDA encourages local talent to be entrepreneurs

The "2021 Nantong Jianghai Talent Entrepreneurship Week & Invitation for Hundred Talent in NETDA" was officially opened on Nov 30 at the Nengda Building of the Nantong Economic & Technological Development Area, or the NETDA – located in Nantong city, in East China's Jiangsu province – according to local media reports on Dec 3.

This year, the event was staged for the 11th consecutive year and it is widely seen to have become a golden calling card for Nantong to display its achievements in talent recruitment programs.

On Nov 11, the development zone established a government-college-enterprise human resources cooperation alliance. It also simultaneously launched an online platform for the alliance, to further boost local human resources improvements and promote high-quality industrial development.

The alliance is understood to involve 30 large enterprises and organizations – including ZTT Fiber Optic Co Ltd, 11 colleges and universities from Nantong, and other cities in China.

Members of the alliance will jointly promote the matchmaking of university academic majors with various industries and courses – and help achieve the integration of local industry and education.
