The launch ceremony for a program for a clean-up of construction sites was held on Sept 24 in the Nantong Economic & Technological Development Area or NETDA – located in Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province.

The initiative is reportedly a bid to further promote Party conduct, transparent government and anti-corruption in the field of engineering construction and control risks at the front line of the NETDA.

It's understood that the reformed construction sites are set to establish rules and regulations, strengthen the monitoring of key links and promote the introduction of "clean hands" at project sites.

The NETDA reportedly aims to integrate this approach by local government and introduce State-owned assets within the scope of the development zone, so as to promote operations that have full regulatory compliance, safety and efficiency.
