NETDA to ensure production safety

The launch ceremony of the 2021 Nantong First Emergency Safety Culture Exhibition and "Work Safety Month" was held in the Nantong Economic & Technological Development Area (NETDA) on June 16.

During the activity, a variety of content, such as a safety-themed painting and calligraphy exhibition, fire and rescue drills in residential communities, and the release of a publicity video for the establishment of a demonstration zone for safe development, attracted a large number of workers' representatives and residents.

"Chemicals manufacturers and other enterprises with heavy safety concerns should work to ensure the safety of workers," said a person in charge of the district's work safety authority.

At the launch ceremony, 50 chemical enterprises in NETDA were given 300,000 yuan ($46,398) each in safety insurance.
