AI Youth competition kicks off in Nantong

The second Nantong Youth Artificial Intelligence Innovation Competition kicked off on June 5 at the Nantong Development Zone Experimental Primary School Xinghu Campus – located in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area in Nantong city, in East China's Jiangsu province.

With the aim of stimulating young people's interest in learning science – and cultivating their innovative spirit and practical abilities – the competition consists of four parts.

Of these, the AI creative programming competition, the AI intelligent design competition and AI drone competition were held on the opening day.

More than 700 young contestants have signed up for the competitions, including 422 offline competitors and over 300 online competitors.

The organizing committee also announced it would solicit innovative AI innovative works from  primary and secondary school students in Nantong.

The goal is to allow young people to use their own special AI way of expressing their best wishes for the centenary of the Communist Party of China.
