The Nantong Economic & Technological Development Area, or NETDA - located in Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province - recently streamlined its reviews of applications for construction drawing applications.
The simplified process officially started operating on March 8, with a dedicated administrative window for multiple drawings and for the completion of construction permits for all projects except municipal projects in the NETDA.
The establishment of the construction drawing review window aims to simplify the previous procedures, reducing processing times and increasing efficiency. The time limit for approvals has been reduced from 7-10 working days to 5-7 working days (five working days for general projects and seven working days for larger projects).
Later, the NETDA will further optimize its business services in this area. It will promote the exemption of drawing reviews for small and medium-sized projects and for post construction drawings for large projects.
