NHIZ's semiconductor industry gains momentum with 80-year-old tech giant
Under the backdrop of the growing significance of the global semiconductor industry, the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (NHIZ) has gained momentum, bolstered by the involvement of Japan's Ihara Technology Co, a tech giant with over 80 years of technical expertise.
As the third factory established by Ihara in China, Jiangsu Ihara Precision Technology Co officially settled in NHIZ in April 2024, inheriting the core technological advantages of its Japanese parent company.
The enterprise primarily manufactures high-precision valves and connector components using stainless steel, iron, copper, and other alloy materials. These products are widely applied in semiconductor equipment, mechanical manufacturing, and the new energy sectors.
In electrolytic tooling, the company has upgraded the original technology from the Japanese factory to develop specialized tooling tailored to distinct product characteristics. This advancement includes the implementation of dual-head electrolytic tooling technology, which addresses the limitations associated with traditional single-head electrolysis, reducing the frequency of clamping.
Meanwhile, by optimizing the electrolytic liquid formula developed by the Japanese facility, the smoothness of the product surface has been significantly enhanced. The company currently holds two invention patents and one utility model patent.
A kind of bellows valve product stands out in the company's exhibition hall. This precision instrument is designed to regulate fluid flow within semiconductor manufacturing processes, improving the safety and stability of gas transmission pipelines.
