Nantong High-tech Zone progresses intelligent manufacturing

The Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu and the Nantong Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau recently announced the lists of provincial and municipal model workshops for intelligent manufacturing for 2021.
The Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone – located in the Tongzhou district of Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province – had six enterprises make it onto the lists, signaling the zone's continued progress in guiding its resident enterprises to reconfigure their workshops towards intelligentization.
The three provincial model workshops for intelligent manufacturing all focus on the new-generation information technology industry. One is the top-grade printed circuits board manufacturing workshop of Nantong Shennan Circuits Co Ltd, while the others are the PCB press workshop of Shanghai Unitech Electronics (Nantong) Co Ltd and the copper-clad plates manufacturing workshop of Jiangsu Shengyi Advanced Material Co Ltd.
The three municipal smart workshops involve the automobiles and components and new-generation information technology sectors.
At present, the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone is home to eight provincial smart workshops and 12 municipal ones.
Moving forward, plans are for it to give full play to the leading role of smart workshops to further promote the intellectualized and low-carbon development of the real economy.
