The Administrative Examination and Approval Bureau of the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone located in Tongzhou district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province recently issued the first special equipment use registration certificate alongside a license plate for special motor vehicles inside field (factory).
Nantong Nkoda Polyurethane Technology Co Ltd, a developer and producer of thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers (TPU) materials in the zone received the license plate for its special-use vehicle. With the license and certificate, the vehicle can legally operate within the company's factory.
The approval procedures only took a working day to complete after the applicant submitted relevant materials on a dedicated cloud platform.
Working staff at the bureau had undergone intensive training on how to carry out registration, change registration, and cancel or deactivate special motor vehicle license plates. They also enhanced coordination with the Nantong Market Supervision Bureau to access its data for the operating system.
Since the empowerment reform of the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, it has undertaken 128 administrative permit and other power items and 948 administrative penalty items, covering nearly all project construction approvals and achieving "affairs handled within the zone".
