Tongzhou works to boost 5G network construction

The Nantong Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, recently announced the latest 5G network construction conditions for the city. From January to July this year, Tongzhou district in Nantong rebuilt 536 base stations, including a number of indoor substations.
In recent years, the district has been working to implement an innovation-driven development strategy, pushing forward the deep application of new technologies such as 5G and industrial internet, and accelerating the integration of 5G and industry.
To expand the size of its 5G network, Tongzhou district has incorporated a number of 5G network construction conditions into its high-quality development assessment system, and established and improved an information infrastructure construction joint conference system.
In addition, to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises, the district's development and reform commission has taken the initiative to organize promotional activities for various 5G converged applications, provide guidance for key information and communication companies to continuously improve application types, cloud service capabilities, application depth, and software richness, and strongly support the needs of 5G and the digital development of various industries.
