Nantong IP protection center provides convenience for enterprises
The invention patent for low-noise flexible cable and its manufacturing method – applied by ZTT Group – has been authorized and obtained the certificate issued by the China National Intellectual Property Administration, or CNIPA, on July 23, according to the China (Nantong) Intellectual Property Protection Center.
It is the first patent for invention authorized through the pre-review channel of the IP protection center.
The center – located in Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province – passed the acceptance of the CNIPA and came into operation in April this year. It established a one-stop pre-review service platform to provide convenience for enterprises.
Through the platform, the processing duration of patents for invention authorizations and examinations will be cut from 22 months to three to six months. That for patents for utility models will be reduced from seven to eight months to one month, while the duration for design patents will go down dramatically from the current one to three months to five to seven days.
