Nantong High-tech Zone's contributions to high-quality development recognized
A number of advanced units and individuals were commended and awarded for their outstanding contributions in 2020 at a conference held by the Nantong government on Feb 19. The event aimed to promote the Party's fine style of work.
The Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone ranked among the top of development zones above the provincial level in 2020 in terms of performance appraisal. It was also named the winner in the decisive 2020 battle between Nantong's "GDP over one trillion yuan" advanced collectives contributing to all-round construction of a well-off society.
Bao Yunxiang, member of the Party working committee and deputy director of the administrative committee of the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone was named the 2020 advanced individual in that same battle.
Tongzhou district held a big meeting on Feb 22 at which a group of units and individuals were honored for their notable contributions.
The Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone was awarded as an excellent collective in the comprehensive assessment by town (district, park, sub-district), advanced collective for Party building and spiritual civilization construction, advanced collective for project construction, advanced collective for scientific and technological innovation and talent work, and advanced collective for ecological civilization construction.
Qian Yulong, director of the Second Bureau of the Investment Promotion Bureau of the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone was rated as an advanced individual in investment promotion.
The award of advanced individual in technological innovation and talent work was granted to Qiu Zhi, director of Sci-Tech New Town Management Office of the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone and Xie Dongmei, deputy director of the Sci-Tech and Talent Bureau of the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone.
The honor of advanced individual in work safety was shared by Liu Chen, deputy director of the Safety Supervision Bureau of the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, and Gao Xinrong, chief of the Supervision and Management Department of the Safety Supervision Bureau of the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone.
